In 2012 is will be the 6th time we celebrate the midsummer-solstice in the Celtic tradtional way in Bad Nieuweschans. For three long days we return to the Celtic Middle Ages with lots of music, entertainment and things for you to do.
The music-lovers will very much enjoy themselves, while we invited a few wonderful musicians, who will perform their great shows on 3 stages. We choose to program more traditional Irish and Scottish folkmusicians on the small stage, and some spectaculair folk(rock) on the main stage.

Much alternation on the stages, but there's not only music... There a lots of things for you to do yourself, such as learning how to do Irish dances and balfok, archery, swordmanship, workshops in arts and crafts. If you want to relax a while, there's a place where you can watch and listen to storytellers and there are dozens of smalle terraces where you can enjoy special medieval food and drinks. We are still planning the program and waiting for some bands to confirm. You can buy tickets now for saturday and sunday, the tickets are cheaper until February 29. You can buy the tickets in our online ticketshop - they will be send to you by mail immediatly after you have bought them.
